Our mission is to empower parents to create meaningful learning experiences for their toddlers through hands-on, play-based activities. We provide easy-to-use, educational kits designed to engage both children and parents, making learning enjoyable and accessible. With expert advice, creative tips, and all the materials needed, we help parents confidently support their child’s development while strengthening their family bond.
What’s Wrong?
After many years of working with children in schools and as a private tutor, I noticed a significant disconnect between parents and their children. Parents were eager to support their child’s learning but often felt lost on where to start or how to help effectively. With the rise of technology, it became all too easy to hand a child a phone or turn on the TV—without realizing the invaluable benefits they were missing out on. As a parent, one-on-one time during those early developmental years is crucial for a child’s long-term growth. Engaging in meaningful interactions, reading together, and fostering hands-on learning experiences lay the foundation for emotional, social, and cognitive development that will benefit them for a lifetime.
My Story
Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to be both a mother and a teacher. I pursued my passion by earning a degree in teaching, with a minor in family and child development, all by the age of 21. After completing my master’s in teaching I was eager to make a difference in children’s lives. I looked foward to everyday being able to work with kids and watching grow and explore the world one day at a time.
After a decade of teaching in the public school system, I slowly transitioned into private one-on-one teaching, which was even more gratifying being able to help kids that need the extra attention. Its also where I started to see a disconnect between parents and children. Parents not knowing how they could help their little one, after all just keeping a little one engaged is a challenge on its own. This is what inspired me to create EduPlay so I could empower parents and engage kids.
